Robert A. Peterson, AIA

Principal - Partner

Mr. Peterson is one of the founding principals of Core Group Architects.  He has been a registered Architect and certified building code official serving private and public clientele for close to 30 years.

Mr. Peterson brings his vast experience in architectural design and building code/development consulting to Core to assist his clients in solving complex building design issues without compromising the quality of the architectural design.

His passion lies with the advancement of exceptional design but realizes to bring  a project from conception to completion in this ever increasing world of regulation takes insightfulness and experience in the technical realm to be able to work around complex building issues while maintaining the original design intent, limiting changes and cost overruns.

Mr. Peterson has exemplified his passion for the built environment from an early age being employed in high school and working through college framing houses in the Hamptons. Learning the value of hard work instilled upon him by his father, he would experience the satisfaction of his hard work by seeing those simple two dimensional forms on blueprints materialize into beautiful 3D structures creating human shelter. A dividend that Mr. Peterson has carried into his professional life galvanizing the technical proficiency and creativeness necessary to be an exceptional architectural practitioner.
