Despite the challenging site and challenging location, Core has carved out a 6,000 square foot modern diagnostic facility for Gramercy Cardiac Diagnostics’ 5th location in the HEART of midtown. A cardiovascular diagnostic center comprised of cutting-edge imaging equipment, Core designed a flagship facility for Dr. Renthrop and his team to service his growing client base in Manhattan. Occupying the 7th floor of a midtown low-rise, Core was presented with the unique challenge of structuring and rigging the 7th floor to receive multi-ton imaging equipment and designing a cohesive space around the limited locations the equipment could be placed. Core had risen to the challenge creating a minimal clinical architectural aesthetic paying homage to the stars. The healthcare modalities of the PET Scan and SPECT scan.
